This Mid-Century modern chrome desk lamp was designed by Jacob Jacobsen in 1930s, Norway. This particular lamp was patented in 1957 in the U.S. (patent number U.S.Pat.No.2787434). This articulated architect lamp features a long arm with a spring mechanism and a clamp to attach it to a table top. An inner shade keeps the lamp from getting too hot.
